The flow of information between forest and industry is becoming ever more significant. Ever greater demands on made on the up-to-dateness and quality of raw data. SDC passes on and processes the information in the best and most efficient way for our customers. We package the processed information in some cases into ready-made solutions. In other cases the information is adapted to need for integration into our customers' own systems.

SDC is an economic association with around fifty members. Purchasing sawmills are affiliated through their own industry organisations.
SDC has around 130 employees and turnover of around SEK 150 million (2011).

Quantities of wood reported through SDC have increased in the past ten years from 103 to 137 million m³sub (2011). In addition, there is approx. 71,2 million m³sub reported from forwarders and harvesters.
